Industrial Sources
Conclusion Industrial source air pollution has been receiving alot of attention in recent years. There is much to be done: standards are out of date; lists of toxics substances incomplete; enforcement efforts inadequate; and there are glaring gaps in our scientific knowledge. While many environmentalists and public health advocates do not oppose voluntary initiatives to tackle to the problem, there is a growing impatience for results and a growing appetite for new approaches that might offer the public a more meaningful role in advancing the agenda in this area.
